Lead-Based Paint Disclosure (42 U.S. Code § 4852d) – Seller is required to provide a disclosure pertaining to any known lead paint hazards contained within the property, plus an informational booklet about risks associated with the substance that is approved by the EPA. (Only applicable to homes constructed before 1978.)

Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement (§ 508D-4, § 508D-5) –  The state of Hawaii requires sellers to submit a disclosure form to the buyer listing all the necessary material facts/defects connected to the dwelling. The form must be provided within ten (10) days of accepting the purchase agreement. (Exemptions to this disclosure can be found in § 508D-3.)
