Submitting a Washington Pistol Transfer Application (FIR 652-001) is a requisite maintained during the background check. It must be made available to your chosen federally licensed firearm dealer. Keep in mind that when buying a handgun, there is an imperative 5-day waiting period before you may take possession of the weapon after purchase.
