The Missouri Minor Child Power of Attorney is a parental delegation form used to secure the temporary care of someone under eighteen (18) years old. This form provides such access and merely requires a description of the parties involved, specifics about the delegation, and an expiration date.

Signing Requirements – The signatures of both the parent/legal guardian and attorney-in-fact, which are to be acknowledged by a notary public (§ 475.604).

Term Limit – Not to exceed one (1) year from the document’s commencement date (§ 475.602(1)).
