Idaho Real Estate Power of Attorney Form

The Idaho Real Estate Power of Attorney limits the agent’s authority to act on the principal’s behalf only in real estate transactions. Not only does it confine the authority to real property transactions, but it also permits the grantor to further restrict the amount of power conveyed by inserting any limitations within the special instructions.

Statute – § 15-12-204

Definition – “Power of attorney” means a writing or other record that grants authority to an agent to act in the place of the principal, whether or not the term power of attorney is used (§ 15-12-102(7)).
